Hilltop Lumber is a family-owned business that started in Glenwood in 1988 with five employees, three trucks and one forklift. Since then Hilltop Lumber has expanded to include more than 60 employees and five locations: Alexandria, Glenwood, Parkers Prairie, Brandon and Ottertail. The company also operates the Hilltop Rental Center located in the Alexandria store. All five stores offer a full range of building supplies and home improvement products.
